" Some months ago I came to see you to stop blushing. I noticed a difference from day one in my confidence and how relaxed I was. I once dreaded going out of the house, now I love to take part in everything. My family say they will have to send me back to you to shut me up - cause I do nothing but talk now! "

Overcome your Blushing

In a career spanning many years, you'd agree that I've seen a lot in my time.

When I first opened my practice, I assumed one of the most common phobias I'd treat with Hypnosis would be fears of mice or spiders or creepy crawlies. However, I've come to realize that the most common phobia is BLUSHING.

A few times a month, clients would visit to have their mice or spider phobias treated, yet I'd have a few visits a day with eureuthophobics!

Eureuthophobia is the devastating fear of blushing, which can and does walk hand in hand with scopophobia - the fear of being stared at.

This generally encompasses the fear of social disgrace; where people dread making a fool of themselves, with the ultimate result being a blush!

People who tend to blush are usually tense and nervous when they're with other people.

As soon as they feel that prickling heat, the signal that they're about to blush, panic then sets in.

And of course, this only makes a bad situation ten times worse! Why? They'll blush all the more!

Blushers go to extreme lengths to try to cover up this crippling phobia.

There are countless methods people resort to, simply to hide their phobia.

I've known men who've grown beards to disguise it, and in point of fact, men are fortunate. Women can't do this!

As such, they have other techniques.

Perhaps they'll go OTT with their make-up, or frequent tanning beds so that the tan will disguise their blush. This is a fallacy. A tan will not hide a blush.

Others will cover their faces with their hair- the page boy cut is a popular style for this! Some will wear polo neck jumpers, even in summer, if they're aware that their blush will spread to their throat.

Dim lights of an evening are a must if they're having a meal at a restaurant. A table near the door is a must so they can make a quick exit if they feel a blush setting in.

I've heard of people developing nasal issues so that they can hold a handkerchief to their noses!

Blushes appear on the most visible parts of the body.

Because of this, there's no escape - thus, the fear becomes ever more crippling.

I've had clients who have cancelled their weddings or quit their jobs because they can't stop blushing

People have even left their partner over this phobia! It starts to take control, leaving them dominated by its power.

No matter how they attempt to hide it, the burning sensation of blush will never disappear. The reason for it is psychological and a physical attempt to disguise it, simply won't work.

If you are a blusher then providing there are no medical reasons* for your condition, then Hypnosis is an ideal way to help you to overcome it.

*Blushes can be mistaken with Rosacea - a chronic and progressive skin disorder which affects over five million people in the UK alone.

If your GP has ascertained this isn't the reason behind your blush, then Fast Track Hypnosis is the ideal method of overcoming your fear and in a short period.

Fast Track Hypnosis instils confidence, increases your general sense of well-being on top of addressing the real issues.

The goal is to overcome the nerves you feel in social situations. The blush is merely a physical response to your inner agitation and worry.

Support CD's or Downloads are also included in the package and during our sessions together, you listen to them simply to reinforce the work we've done.

You'll also learn auto-hypnosis so that if you come across a situation and feel you can't handle it, you simply calm yourself with self-hypnosis and carry on as normal.

I can't guarantee you won't blush. If someone tells a rude joke or you trip in public, even non-blushers will turn pink in a situation like that!

That is acceptable.

But what is not acceptable is when it is on your mind 24 hours a day!

Fast Track Hypnosis will give you freedom.

Freedom from centring your life around the fear of blushing.

Four sessions are usually required, dependent upon your response and commitment.

Afterwards, you could be leading your life free from this debilitating phobia, as opposed to more extended methods used by psychologists, conventional Hypnotherapists ( up to 15 sessions ), etc.

It is impossible to be accurate of how many sessions are required due to the differences in clients, but with the use of Fast Track Hypnosis, it dramatically speeds up the whole process.

Fees £85.00 or 85.00 euros per Session.
